For optimal performance, it is important to formulate diets that meet the nutrient requirements for poultry while minimizing the excretion of excess nutrients into the environment. With respect to protein feed ingredients, apparent ileal digestibility is widely used to reflect its bioavailability. If diet formulations are based on apparent ileal digestibility values, the digestibility of amino acid in feedstuffs will be underestimated and may result in an increased level of nutrient excretion. The concept of standardized digestibility system in which corrections are made for basal endogenous amino acid losses as a mean of overcoming the limitations of apparent digestibility estimates is proposed. Standardized ileal amino acid digestibility and the method of evaluating basal endogenous amino acid losses are discussed. The application of standardized ileal amino acid digestibility in amino acid nutrient evaluation of feed ingredients in broilers are reviewed in this article.

Four male China merino (Xinjiang type) sheep of 40 kg live weight were used to investigate effects of supplementation N-Acetyl-DL-Methionine on digestion and metabolism of sheep in two periods. Sheep were supplied with 2.35 g methionine per day in the first period and with 3.06 g N-Acetyl-DL-Methionine per day in the second period. The results indicated that digestibility of cellulose in control and treatment were 50.64%±6.46% and 61.98%±5.44%(P<0.05), the digestibility of hemicellulose were 48.92%±1.69% and 54.96%±3.95%(P<0.05), the apparent digestibility of calcium were 15.12%±1.07% and 18.27%±2.04%(P<0.05). It concluded that the digestibility of cellulose and hemicellulose were improved by supplementation with N-Acetyl-DL-Methionine. The amount and rate of retention of calcium were also improved by the supplementation.

Chitosan is a kind of crude polysaccharid with cation in the nature, it has vast biologic function .This test was conducted to evaluat the effects of weight gain rate ,immunity on mice of two kinds of chitosan.The results showed that the intake and daily gain of mice in every group was not significant(P>0.05); The highest dosage of two kinds of chitosan extremly imprument the T lymphocyte persentage in blood of mice(P<0.01) ,they are also higher than the other groups mice of taking chitosan (P<0.05); The second,third,fifth,sixth groups’α and content of bacteriolysin were extremely higher than contrast group(P<0.01);The effect between two kinds of chitosan on K were terribely notable(P<0.01),the effect on content of bacteriolysin of the first kind of chitosan was higher than the second one(P<0.05),still;The two kinds of chitosan had defend effect on the ratio of the mice infected by coliform,but the first kind chitosan was better than the second one.

One hundred and twenty broilers were randomly divided into 4 groups with 6 replicates in each group and 5 chicken in each replicate. We studied influence on performance and body quality of broiler chicken by using soybean phoshatide to take the place of 0.5%,1% and 1.5% corn of basal daily grain. Conclusion indicated boiler chicken fortytwo days adding weight improved 2.1%, 4.4% and 8.7%,feed changing rates raised 3.5%,5.2% and 8.1%, raising costs fell 2.3%,3.5% and 5.8%, chest muscle rates improved 14.7%,0.9% and -2.5%, belly fat rates improved 11.06%,20.28% and 44.75 by using soybean phoshatide to take the place of corn in daily grain.

For this test, fouryear old yaks(three) with permanent rumen fistula that provide rumen fluid were conducted at the same feeding management condition. The main purpose is to assess native rape cakes of Qinghai province (from five counties) by using gas production method in vitro, and gain the dynamical changes of gas production from fermentation of the rape cakes at Qinghai province. The result of this test provides reference data for making full use of native high protein feed and formulating measures of supplementary feeding of livestock grazing in alpinecold area.

Single nucleotide polymorphism in DNAbinding domain and ligandbinding domain of the progesterone receptor (PGR) gene was detected in both high prolificacy sheep breeds (Small Tail Han and Hu sheep) and low prolificacy sheep breeds (Dorset and Texel sheep) with three pairs of primers by polymerase chain reaction (PCR)single strand conformation polymorphism (SSCP). No polymorphism was detected in the amplified regions in the four sheep breeds tested. DNA fragments of exons 5, 6 and 9 of PGR gene in Small Tail Han sheep were cloned into pGEMT Easy vectors and the nucleotide sequences were detected. Comparing the partial sequences of sheep PGR gene from GenBank, the complete sequences of DNAbinding domain and ligandbinding domain of sheep PGR gene were obtained and the amino acid sequences of the two domains were deduced. The comparison of the two domains of PGR gene in human, rabbit, dog, sheep, rat and mouse showed that the homologies of the nucleotide sequences of DNAbinding domain and ligandbinding domain among these six species were from 88.6% to 97.2% and from 84.4% to 96.3% respectively, and the homologies of the amino acid sequences were from 97.6% to 100% and from 96.3% to 99.6% respectively. The results indicated that the DNAbinding domain and ligandbinding domain of PGR gene were highly conserved among mammals, and the two domains may not be the functional regions that affect the high prolificacy in sheep.

In order to amplify the end of 3’of the Bcl2 gene of Mongolia sheep , we designed two pair of primers according to the reported Bos taurus Bcl-2 gene sequence in the GenBank .Total RNA was extracted from the spleen of Mongolia sheep and the cDNA encoding Mongolia sheep bcl-2 was amplified by the reverse transcription PCR(RT-PCR).The purified RT-PCR product was cloned in pBlueselect T vector.The results of restriction endonuclease pattern analysis of recombinant plasmid and DNA sequencing demonstrated that the Bcl-2 is belong to the family of Bcl-2 because the cDNA contain a open reading frame (ORF) of 261 bases which encoded 83 amino acid . The nucleotide sequences of Mongolia sheep Bcl-2 gene were compared with the counterpart sequences of Bos taurus , and the nucleotide homology was 95.8%.

One virus was isolated from brain and visceral organs of diseased piglets from a pig farm in Bobai of Yulin of Guangxi.The virus that infected rabbits caused typical pseudorabies clinical symptom, induced typical cytopathogenic effect(CPE) after inoculated in PK-15 cell. And virus TCID50 was 10-7.22/0.1 ml. A specific band with about 947 bp was obtained by PCR amplification witha pair of designed according to a reference.The PCR production was cloned ,sequenced and compared with MinA strain,Ea strain,SH strain,LA strain,GXB strain,GXW strain . The result displayed 98.7% to 99.4% nucleotide sequence identities and 98.1% to 99.1% amino acid sequence identities,so it was comfirmed as pseudorabies virus and it was named GXBB strain. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that the PRV GXBB strain and other PRV strains were closely related and there were few mutations about the epidemic PRV strains in Guangxi at present. The study provides the scientific theoretical basis for prevention and eradication of PRV .

Balb/c mice were immunized with purified akabane virus, after the fusion of the splenocytes obtained from the immunized mice with SP2/0 cells, we obtained two strains hybridoma cell lines steadily secreting akabane virus specific monoclonal antibodies by indirectELISA screening and three times subcloning, they were named 3A and 2C. ELISA and neutralization test revealed, they were all akabane virus specific monoclonal antibodies, the ELISA titer for akabane virus antibodies in culture supernatant were 1∶640 and 1∶320, the ascites obtained by mice were 1∶256000 and 1∶128000, affinity constant(Ka) were 1.16×10-9 mol/L and 6.31×10-8 mol/L, relative affinity of 3A was higher than that of 2C, the titers of the neutralizing antibodies were 1∶64 and 1∶32 respectively. Test for the subgroup of the monoclonal antibodies revealed that 3A and 2C were subgroup IgG1, all their light chains were the kappa type. The two strains hybridoma cell lines can steadily secrete akabane virus specific monoclonal antibodies after three times frozen and resuscitated. It indicates that, we have successfully prepared akabane virus specific McAb, and found an important base for further developing fast diagnostic method to detect akabane virus.

In recently, a number of researchers have focused on the relationship between vitamin D receptor (VDR) and bone metabolism. It has been shown that the vitamin D that the active metabolite is 1,25(OH)2 vitamin D3, has play in important role in the regulation bone metabolism and absorption of calcium and phosphorous. The VDR is easily expressed polymorphisms in the different communities even the different individuals. It have been reported that the four single nucleotide polymorphisms of VDR were FokI,BsmI,ApaI,TaqI. The purpose of this review is to summarize the progress of the relationship between VDR gene polymorphsims and bone metabolism in aspects of calcium absorption, bone mass, bone mineral density, osteoporosis and rickets and so on.

The objective of this paper war to study the activity change of cyclic adenosine monophosphatephosphodiesterase (cAMP-PDE) in neutrophils of dogs with canine distemper and its regulation by Chinese herbs in vitro and to provide data for further studies of antiinflammatory agents and Chinese herbal therapies on viral inflammation. cAMP-PDE was obtained from neutrophils which isolated from dogs having distemper (n=9) (distemper group) and normal dogs (n=6) (control group), and the influences of Chinese herbs on activity of the cAMP-PDE was detected by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The results showed that the activity of cAMP-PDE extracted from neutrophils of distemper group (18.55%±2.66%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (11.54%±5.16%) (P<0.05). 14 traditional Chinese medicines out of 5 types 114 medicines (drugs for relieving exterior syndrome etc.) were significantly inhibit the activity of cAMP-PDE ,including rhizoma phragmitis(77.27%), figwortflower picrorhiza rhizome (70.41%), glossy privet fruit (65.50%), haichow elsholtzia herb (65.16%), fritillariae tuber (61.43%), scutellaria (60.67%), sagittate epimedium (60.34%), astragalus mongholicus (59.13%), herba artemisiae annuae (56.93%) cortex fraxini (55.55%), biond magnolia flower (55.03%), glycyrrhiza uralensis (54.67%), fructus Arctii (53.40%) and ephedra herb (53.32%),respectively.Those results indicate that the activity of cAMP-PDE in neutrophils plays an important role in the progress of inflammation of dogs with canine distemper.The Chinese herbs might have therapeutic effect on canine distemper because of its comparatively strong inhibitory effects on cAMP-PDE,and inhibiting the activity of cAMP-PDE in neutrophils might be one of the mechanism of Chinese herbs antiinflammatory. 

IL-1 plays a key regulatory role in the onset of immune and inflammatory responses. To investigate the role of microvascular endothelial cells (MVECs) in the immune responses to footandmouth disease virus (FMDV), the effects of FMDV 146S antigen on IL-1α and IL-1β production by rat myocardium microvascular endothelial cells (RMMVECs) were assayed by ELISA kit. The study showed that RMMVECs constitutively secreted IL-1α and IL-1β in low level, and their production were significantly upregulated by the stimulation of FMDV 146S antigen. The results indicate that MVECs play an important role in regulating the immune response to FMDV antigen by enhanced production of IL-1.

In order to study on the growth and differentiation rule of cells cultured in vitro of Luxi cattle,Mongolia horse,Peking duck and Langshan chicken,the vitro four cell lines were established successfully in this study with tissure attachment culture method. Analysis on the growth and differentiation rule of fibroblast cell through rendering the growth curve and photographing the cells growth process by Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy. The experimental results indicate that: the four cell growth curves are all showed significantly sshape, the length of retention period and incubation period are obviously different between livestock and poultry cells , and the doubling time for livestock and poultry cells are also, in addition, the single cell division period of Mongolia horse and Langshan chicken cells cultured in vitro are obviously different too, the former is 97 min and the latter is 85 min.

Gene frequency ,polymorphism information contents ,number of effective allele s ,heterozygosity and genetic distances were studied in Rose Crown, New Romain and Anka using four microsatellite markers(ADL101,MCW020,ADL183,ADL298) . The crossing effects on Rose Crown and Anka with New Romain were tested. The results indicated that there are genetic polymorphisms at four microsatellite markers in three crown population. Four microsatellite markers can be used for genetic diversity evaluation in crown population. The genetic variability of Anka is the highest, and Rose Crown is the lowest in three crown population . Genetic distances between Rose Crown and Anka is bigger than that between Rose Crown and New Romain. The heterosis between Rose Crown and Anka is higher than that between Rose Crown and New Romain. It accords with testing results on actual heterosis.

The study collected cattle and sheep ovaries from slaughter house to search the effects of season, collection methods on the recovery and maturation. The results were as follows: the season have no effect on the recovery and maturation of oocytes in bovine; pumping method was suitable to bovine. Season has significant effects on the recovery and maturation of sheep. The number of oocytes recovered and utilized significant reduce from unreproduction season to reproduction season(P<0.05).However, the maturation rate in vitro increased extremely(P<0.01).Dissect way is suit to collect oocytes of sheep. The collection method have significant effect on availability rate(P<0.01)and maturation rate (P<0.05)between dissect way and aspiration.

In the condition of heat stress, dietary cationanion balance had a significantly effects on production and health of dairy cow. They can directly affect the balance of acid and base, metabolism of mineral matter, the level of enzyme and hormone. By this way, they can improve health condition, feed intake and production of dairy cow.75 middle lactation(104.8±12 DMI) China Holstein cows come from Anding Pengfeng dairy farm of Beijing were used in this experiment. These cows were randomly divided into five groups by similar parity, milk yield and weight into five treatment groups, every group were adjusted the DCAB value by providing with different level cationanion salt. Five group were group Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ and control group, the DCAB value of these group diets were 195.76, 186.68, 177.77, 166.94 and 239.12 m Eq/kg DM. The experimental stage were lasted 67 days, 7 days for test period beforehand and 60 days for test period. We change the DCAB value to study the effect of different DCAB value on the performance and blood chemistry of dairy cattle on the condition of heat stress. The results indicated that in the condition of heat stress, different DCAB value diet can influence the performance and the milk quality. Compared with control group, the milk yield of group Ⅰ and Ⅱ increased 1.6% and 0.8%, but the milk yield of group Ⅲ and Ⅳ decreased 2.2% and 1.7%, but the difference is not significant (P>0.05). However, the milk fat rate, milk protein 〖JP2〗rate, lactose, total solids mass and somatic cell count were not significantly affected by change the DCAB value of the diets. Meanwhile, the concentration of nitric acid salt and nitrous acid salt in milk were not significantly affected by these diets(P>0.05).

Control group were fed milk, test group were fed replacement of milk. All the cows involved in were fed for 30 days. This experiment result showed that the average daily body weight gain of control group was 0.768 kg,test group was 0.841 kg, 0.073 kg higher than control group, but there was no significantly change between them; the rate of diarrhea of control group is 5.6%, the rate of diarrhea of test group is 3.8%, 32% lower than control group.

After AA+ breed hens were immunized using NDV-IBV-AIV(H9) vaccine, the HI antibody of one-day-old chicklings and breed hens were positive correlation. One-day-old chicklings maternal HI antibody was higher and its maternal declined fast after 15-17-day-old.The chicklings maternal HI antibody against NDV, IBV and H9 subtype AIV were 0. The result indicated that the young than 14-day-old chicklings could get 100% protection against NDV, IBV and H9 subtype AIV within 60 days post immunization. Young than 7-day-old chicklings could get 100% protection within 120 to 135 days post immunization; 1-day-old chickling could get 100% protection within 150 to 180 days after breed hen immunized.

Five strains bacteria were isolated from piglets with representative edema disease clinic symptom and dissection symptom in a Jiangsu pig farm,namely JS0001,JS0002,JS0003,JS0004 and JS0005 respectively. The isolated bacteria were identified by their culture characteristics,morphology,dye characteristics,biochemical characteristics and serological test,and antimicrobial susceptibilities,hemolysin production,cytotoxicliy for Vero cell and pathogenilcity for mice were tested.The results showed that the isolates JS0001,JS0002,JS0004 and JS0005 produced β hemolysin,and JS0001,JS0002,JS0003 and JS0004 had high pathogenic for mice through abdominal injection.The five isolated bacteria were high sensitive to Furazolidon(FR),Ceftriaxone(CRO),Cefotaxime(CTX)and Amikacin(AN),especially Ceftriaxone(CRO),but resistant to Amoxicillin and Doxycycline.The JS0002 and JS0004 strain had cytotoxicity against Vero cell ,and were identified to be shigalike toxin escherichia coli.The results of the serological test showed that JS0002 and JS0004 O antigen serotypes were O139, and JS0001 and JS0003 O antigen Serotypes were O141.

To investigate the antibody level and antigen of pseudorabies virus(PRV) in swinery by SNT and PCR test respectively, 1470 serum samples and 136 sick samples were collected from largescale pig farms in Fujian province. The results showed that the eligibility rate of antibodies in sows was 91.5%,89.2% and 94.8% respectively from 2005 to 2007 years;that in the piglets which was before 6 weeks old was 75.3%,56.6% and 75.5% respectively ;And that in the piglets which was over 6 weeks old was 38.0%,33.9% and 30.7% respectively. The PCR positive rate in material of sick pigs was 12.5%,17.4% and 16.0% respectively from 2005 to 2007 years. It indicated that PRV had not yet been fully purified in largescale pig farms and should been controlled furthermore.

The objective of study was to observe the impact of epinephrine, acetylcholine and atropin on relevant physiological indexes of rabbit’s, respiratory intensity, respiratory rate, heart rate. domestic rabbits were anaesthetized, then were injected with epinephrine, acetyl choline, atropine in turn. The respiratory curve and electrocardiogram during 5 minutes were recorded. The results showed that: the respiratory intensity, heart rate of domestic rabbit were strengthened after intravenous injection with epinephrine, but respiratory rate droped; the respiratory intensity, heart rate of domestic rabbit were weakened after intravenous injection with acetylcholine, the respiratory rate increased; the respiratory intensity decreased, and respiratory rate, heart rate of domestic rabbit increased after intravenous injection with atropine. Therefore, epinephrine, acetylcholine, atropine have some influence on relevant physiological indexes of domestic rabbit.

Eggs are an important component of human meal, with the transportation and sale the salmonella and other pathogenic bacteria would probably exist and influence the egg safety. In this experiment, the changes of the total bacteria count, the number of coli group, and the salmonella population of the eggshell, egg white and egg yolk of the fresh egg products in bulk and in package branded DeQingyuan, LiuMinying and other two branded fresh egg during storage had been studied. It had been found that the initial the eggshells of different brand all had a certain quantity of bacterial contamination, the bacterial amount was 9.315×102~1.367×104/one egg , and increased with the extension of storage time; the content of branded eggs were not found bacteria contamination at early storage time, but the bacteria contamination was found after 6 days, the total bacteria count and coli group on egg shells showed increase with the extension of storage time. Besides the A branded eggs, the other market eggs all have salmonella contamination ,the rate of eggshell was 1.67%~8.3% ,and the rate of the content was 1.67%~5%. The total bacteria count, the coli group and the salmonella population of bulk eggs were higher than the branded eggs.
