Abstract: The study collected cattle and sheep ovaries from slaughter house to search the effects of season, collection methods on the recovery and maturation. The results were as follows: the season have no effect on the recovery and maturation of oocytes in bovine; pumping method was suitable to bovine. Season has significant effects on the recovery and maturation of sheep. The number of oocytes recovered and utilized significant reduce from unreproduction season to reproduction season（P<0.05）.However, the maturation rate in vitro increased extremely（P<0.01）.Dissect way is suit to collect oocytes of sheep. The collection method have significant effect on availability rate（P<0.01）and maturation rate （P<0.05）between dissect way and aspiration.
