Abstract: SLA is a gene group which related with disease resistance and immunologic response closely, it doesn't only code transplantation antigens, control transplantation uejection, but also participate in immunologicresponsing regulation and immunologic recognition. One of the most important functions is antigen presenting. In-depth study on SLA can provide advanced theoretical basis for studying on the veterinarians clinical immunologic tolerance and the development of epitope vaccine. And it helps for discovering effective candidate genes during breeding for disease resistance of pigs. This paper reviewed the polymorphism of SLAⅡ genes and breeding for disease resistance.
