Abstract: The FSHβ subunit gene was obtained using the polymerase chain reaction(PCR) technique in Yunan black pigs,and the polymorphism was investigated. The results showed that the allele frequencies of A,B were 0.3318 and 0.6682. The genotype frequencies of AA,AB,BB were 0.0727,0.5182 and 0.4091, the genotype frequencies of the three genes were in Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium.The polymorphism information content (PIC) was 0.3451,belong to midpolymorphism locus,and heterozygosity was 0.4434, showed that Yunan black pigs had a good potential for breeding.The cluster analysis suggested that the relationship was closer between Yunan black pigs and Min pigs,however,the relationship was relatively farther between Yunan black pigs and Erhualian pigs.
