Application of Single Nucleotide Polymorphism in Breeding of Pig

Abstract

Abstract: As the third generation of genetic maker，single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) has been extensively used in animal genetic and breeding，gene location，clone and research of genetic polymorphism. The concept，detection methods and the application of SNP in breeding research on pigs was elaborated in this paper. Finally，the prospect of application of SNP has been expounded.
