Abstract: The correlation analysis was carried on body weight traits and body size traits of Wannan black pigs at newborn, 20, 30, 60 and 90 days. The results showed that the Wannan black pigs’ average daily gain was enhancing with the day-old increasing. There was significant correlation between body weight and head length at 30 days of age and the correlation coefficient was 0.852. There were highly significant correlation between body weight and chest girth at 20 and 30 days and the correlation coefficients were 0.896, 0.903 respectively. All of the correlation coefficients above could be used for breeding.
