Polymorphisms Comparison of ESR and FSH-β Genes betweenMeishan and Yorkshire Sows

Abstract: PCR-RFLP and PCR methods were adopted to examine the polymorphisms of ESR gene and FSH-β gene in Meishan and Yorkshire Sows nucleus herds，The results showed that in Meishan nucleus herd the frequencies of A and B alleles of ESR gene were 0.353 and 0.647, the frequencies of A and B alleles of FSH-β gene were 0.836 and 0.164; In Yorkshire nucleus herd the frequencies of A and B alleles of ESR gene were 0.409 and 0.591, the frequencies of A and B alleles of FSH-β gene were 0.069 and 0.931.
