After feeding differently processed corn as dietary to yanbian semi-fuzz sheep with fistulas, the pH varieties were not significantly different in all experimental groups. The concentration of NH

-N in the whole corn group was significantly lower than the other two groups after 3 h(P<0.05), however, after 6 h, the mealy corn group was significantly lower than the other two groups(P<0.05). The activities of CMCase and xylanase were not significantly different in all experimental groups. The variation of protozoa population of the granule corn group in rumen trended to be higher than the other two groups, but not significant. Also, there was no significant difference among all experimental groups in feeder nutriment digestibility.

Using the Western-blotting technique to detect the beta-casein protein from culture medium of bovine mammary epithelial cells(BMEC) in vitro, which can identify the normal physiological function of BMEC;Karyotype analysis identify the number and figure of Chromosome of BMEC cultured in vitro. The results show: containing betacasein protein in culture medium of bovine mammary epithelial cells in vitro shows that the mammary epithelial cells with normal physiological condition; the number of chromosomes in normal, it is 60, and the karyotype agreement with the mammalian chromosome map, shows that the cell lines in vitro culture conditions not transformation.

To study effect of cysteamine on the growing function for silver fox in rearing period, 224 (112♂ +112♀) of two-month-old healthy silver foxes were selected, and the male weigh about 2.50 kg (P>0.05),while the female around 2.10 kg (P>0.05). Among them, 200 (100♂ +100♀) foxes were randomly selected for the test group, and the other 24 (12♂ +12♀) individuals were for the control group. Feeding experiments last about three months (from June 10 to August 31 in 2004). Experiment design of factor analysis, a multiple factor design, was adopted, in which two factors were repeated in experiments. Different amount of cysteamine (10 mg, 40 mg, 70 mg, 100 mg, 130 mg per kg of body weight BW) were added respectively at 5 different time intervals (1 d, 3 d, 5 d, 7 d and 9 d). There were 12 repeats of test in control groups, and a couple of individuals for each one. Finally, body weight gain, feed conversion ratio and feed intake were measured. Results showed that only the combination of 70 mg/kg BW of cysteamine added every 5days would produce the highest body weight gain and feed conversion ratio among total 25 combinations, meanwhile it increased by 15.08% (P<0.05) and 20.21%(P<0.01) respectively compared with those of the control group. However, feed intake of the test groups silver fox was lower than that of the control group, individuals of the combination of 70 mg/kg BW of cysteamine added every 5days decreased 4.52% (P<0.05) of feed intake compared with control group.

The silage feed was made by mixtures of vegetable, corn meal, wheat bran and CH3COOH of percent 2 in this experiment. By observing, smelling and touching, the results showed with the increasing of time, the effects of silage feed were becoming more and more better. Furthermore, the effects of silage feed on the 30th day and 35th day were obviously better on 15th day. But there were no significant differences between the 30th day and 35th day.

Four Simmental steers(average BW 420 kg, aged 2.5) with permanent rumen cannula and consuming a corn straw diet were used in a 4×4 Latin square design and supplemented with four levels(0, 0.02, 0.04 and 0.06g/kgW) of supplemental isovalerate to evaluate the effects of isovalerate on ruminal pH, NH3-N, and VFA. The results showed that ruminal pH of supplemental isovalerate 0.06 g/kgW decreased (P<0.05). The NH3-N concentrations of 0.04 g/kgW and 0.06 g/kgW group were lower than control and 0.02 g/kgW group significantly (P<0.05). Ruminal actate, butyrate, acetate/propionate, TVFA, and purine derivatives of urine were increased significantly (P<0.05) by isovalerate supplementation with 0.04 g/kgW. The supplementation of isovalerate had passive effect on rumen fermentation, the optimum dose was 0.04g/kgW.

Eighteen hematology parameters of Wuzhishan miniature pig inbreeding line, Guizhou miniature pig breedand Guangxi Bama miniature pig closed colonies have been detected with the automatic hematology analytic instrument. The statistic results showed that there is only one parameter not significant in them, six ones were highly significant difference. The average coefficient of variance in all parameters of three breed were 0.243,0.19 and 0.182 in turn. Through out the comparison among three pig breeds and between them and the human reference value, Gttingen minipig, domestic pig and exotic Landrace pig, the important information were provided for the miniature pig utilized on the human medical study.

The chicken was fed with low VE feedstuff to duplicate model of encephalomalacia.The oxidative and anti-oxidative characteristics of immune tissues in chicken with encephalomalacia were studied through detecting the content of NO,MDA and ROS in serum and immune tissues, the activity of XOD, GSH-Px and T-AOC. The results showed that the higher content of free radical and lipid peroxidation products,lower activity of GSH-Px and lower T-AOC in serum,spleen and bursa of chicken with encephalomalacia than that of control ones. The results indicated that oxidative stress occurred and the function of antioxidant system decreased in immune tissues of chicken with encephalomalacia.

In this experiment, egg shape index, egg weight loss in the incubation, allantoic and amniotic fluid volume were mensurated and analysed. The results showed that the egg shape index was correlative with the eggshell strengh, and the coefficient was 0.30. The eggshell strength was bigest when the egg shape index was from 0.800 to 0.819, more than and less than the range, the strength trended to descend. When the egg shape index was from 0.780 to 0.799, the egg weight loss was highest, but allantoic and amniotic fluid volume were smallest, more than and less than the range, the weight loss minished gradually, however allantoic and amniotic fluid volume increased little by little.

IGF-Ⅰ gene was chosen as a candidate gene for growth and carcass traits of songliao black swine.The exon4(179bp) polymorphism of IGF-Ⅰ gene was detected by PCR-SSCP in 30 pigs,and the relationship between the polymorphism and growth and carcass traits was analyzed.The results showed that 2 alleles and 3 genotypes of IGF-Ⅰ gene were detected in songliao black swine,there was a higher degree of polymorphism; different IGF-Ⅰ genotypes significantly affected average daily gain after weaning.Average daily gain after weaning for AA genotype on IGF-Ⅰ was significantly higher than for AB and BB. The pigs with AA genotype had a lower lean percentage than those with AB genotype and BB genotype(P<0.01), and had a higher average backfat thickness than those with AB genotype and BB genotype(P<0.01). Other traits were not significantly affected.Therefore,the genetic analysis of IGF-Ⅰ gene revealed that IGF-Ⅰ locus significantly affected average daily gain after weaning, lean percentage,and average backfat thickness,it could be preliminarily deduced that IGF-Ⅰ gene was probably a major gene or a QTL linked gene which associated with growth and carcass traits.

The single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of GH gene was investigated in various breeds, including beijing ducks, xihu mallards, cherry valley meat ducks, jinding ducks, shan partridge ducks, jingjiang ducks, shaoxing ducks, jinyun partridge ducks. Five primers for 5’-UTR and 3’-UTR of GH gene were designed according the database of duck genomic sequence and the SNPs were detected by PCR-SSCP method. Polymorphism (C/G at 230 and C/A at 244 ) was only found among individuals within jinding ducks, jingjiang ducks, shaoxing ducks. Population genetics analysis showed that the frequency of AB genotype in jinding ducks was significantly higher than that of jingjiang ducks and shaoxing ducks and the frequency of A allele in jinding ducks was significantly higher than that in jingjiang ducks and shaoxing ducks.

In order to exploit and utilize goat resource, 8 blood protein polymorphismsin had been studied by applied polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis for 5 Chinese native goat breeds.The genotypic and allele frequencies of 5 polymorphic loci (Hb, Am,Tf,Po, Alb) in each breed were calculated. According to the chicken β-actin gene sequences available in GenBank, a pair of primers was designed for establish a SYBR Green I quantitative real-time PCR method for β-actin gene of chicken. To establish the standard curve, the product of conventional PCR served as a standard. The analysis of melting curve was also carried out. The results show the linear range of Ct value was from 12 to 31 with a good correlation coefficient(r=0.996). The melting curve show a single peak with a 88±0℃ Tm value. The real-time PCR assay developed in this study can detect β-actin in expand range with high efficiency and less time. The assay provide the basis for β-actin gene of chicken as a reference gene in quantitative analysis of mRNA expression.

DNA methylation, histone deacetylation, and methylation of histone H3 at lysine 9 are the three bestcharacterized covalent modifications associated with a repressed chromatin state, and they are all involved in genes silencing. A nonisotopic single strand conformation polymorphism (ColdSSCP) technique was established to differentiate fasciola hepatica from fasciola gigantica from different geographical locations in China using the first internal transcribed spacers (ITS1) of ribosomal DNA (rDNA) as genetic marker. The partial ITS1 was amplified by PCR from individual fasciola and the amplicons were subjected to nondenaturing gel electrophoresis. ColdSSCP analyses showed that fhepatica and fgigantica displayed distinct SSCP profiles, allowing their equivocal differentiation from each other. Sequencing analyses supported the results of ColdSSCP. The establishment of the ColdSSCP approach for the identification and differentiation of
fhepatica and fgigantica has important implications for further studies of fasciola spp.

In present article, there are two positive standard salmonella bacteria, two positive sample about chicken and a sample of aseptic water. This samples are detected with fluorescence polymerase chain reaction. The results showed: The method is efficient and accurate. Furthermore, it took only 30 hours for whole PCR process. The number of the white blood cell(WBC),the sum total of lymphocytes ,the activity of T lymphocytes ANAE+ and the concentration of interleukins were studied by Acid αnaphthyl acetate esterase,(ANAE) dye method, and radio immunoassay(RIA) in the chicken with encephalomalicia induced by giving the feed being deficient in VE and extra fish oil artificially . 12 day old chicken, which averange titres of NDV antibodies is 2log2, was immunized with the oil adjuvant NDV velogenic strains vaccine and the oil adjuvant NDV La Sota strains vaccine. After the inoculability, the serum was pooled every week, and the titres of NDV antibodies was showed by the MicroHIA. The peak titres of NDV antibodies was appeared the 21th day, and the 6log2 high titres was keeping above 30 days. 40 days later in the immunization, the chicken were challenged by NDV velogenic isolates and NDVF48E9 isolates, and no chicken was infected. The percentage of protection from the two vaccines are 100%. The test of challege indicated that immunigenicity difference between the oil adjuvant NDV velogenic strains vaccine and the oil adjuvant NDV LaSda strains vaccine is not remarkable.

There are different characters and the usage scopes of the normal vaccines for inactivated vaccine, weak poison vaccine and gene deficiency vaccine, and after a series of analysis we find out that using gene deficiency vaccine is the best choice to protection against PR at pig farms. We finally pointed out the importance of immunology monitoring after we had analyzed those Disputed issues on immune programs and methods such as the 1st immune day, no time immune day, the interval time of immune as well as immune through dropping noses. At last we put forward the measures and feasibility to perish PR disease on intensive pig farms and summarize successful experiences which are from home and abroad. We hope it can offer some great practical directions on control PR disease.

In the research ,direct microscopic exam, hematology inspection, idodine brake test, vigor experiment were used to diagnose 20 dogs admitted by animal hospital. As a result, 18 of them were determined dominant or latent H.Canis . Refering to the above diagnosis experiment, 10 dogs were sampled out at random among the 18 infectious dogs and were divided into 5 groups to carry on in vivo pharmacokenetics experiment. The dogs were injected Berenil+Imidocarb , Berenil, Imidocarb and Special effect Mi Xian respectively in different groups; the last group is a control group, The results indicated that Berenil combining with Imidocarb shows the best effects; Berenil and Imidocarb used separately were secondly effective; Special effect Mi Xian respectively hardly showed any effects.

The results indicated that the isolates showed a greater or lesser degree resistance to nine antimicrobial drugs. Most isolates showed resistance to multiple antibiotics and displayed a highest level resistance to Penicillin and Erythromycin with a frequency of 97.7%,followed by Ciprofloxacin with a frequency of resistance of 81.8%.While most isolates displayed a higher level susceptibility to Amikacin, Tobramycin and Gentamicin,especially to Amikacin with a frequency of 90.9%.

31 Qinchuan cattle were superovulated, 20 cattle were effective with the rate 64.5%, and 6.45 embryos were obtained on average. Among them, 4.20 embryos were useful. The embryos obtained from each cattle and useful embryos of the 300 mg group were significantly higher than groups that treated with FSH 260 mg and 340 mg per cattle (P<0.05). The obtained (8.56) and useful embryos (6.00) per cattle treated in spring and summer were significantly higher than that treated in autumn and winter (4.73, 2.73) (P<0.05). 10 cattle were superovulated repeatedly with the interval 70 days. There were not any significantly different between each superovulation (P<0.05).

Bacteria culture isolation and antibiotic sensitivity tests from 516 animals in Zhejiang province had been performed from 2002 to 2005. The main pathogens isolated were staphylococci, streptococci and E.coli, being 18.92% of total isolated bacteria in 2002~2003, 24% in 2003~2004 and 16.21% in 2004~2005. Among grampositive coccobacteria, staphylococci occupied 6.90% in 2002 and increased to 23.25% in 2005. Drugresistance of these three main pathogens to sulfamethoxazole ,tetracycline, kanamycin, streptomycin were 88.78%, 100%, 83.33% and 82.22%. Drug-resistance of staphylococci and E.coli to enoxacin was 11.31% and 22.62%, respectively, suggesting enoxacin had efficiently Bactericidal effect on staphylococci and E.coli. Similarly, ampicillin showed bactericidal effect on streptococci and only 34.32% of streptococci isolated in 2002~2005 showed ampicillinresistance. These results suggest that drugresistance of pathogens isolated from animals increase gradually.
