Application of Gene Chip Technology in the Veterinary Clinical

Abstract

Abstract: Gene chip technology is a new biological technique， which was developed accompanying with the human genome project and fused or called DNA microarray. The technology is considered to be another revolutionary technological breakthrough, following gene cloning, gene sequencing technology and PCR techniques. The advantages of this technology are high integration, high content, micromation, parallelism, diversification and automatization. In this paper, the concept of targeted gene chips, the basic principles, technical aspects, and its clinical application in the veterinary and problems were reviewed.
