Abstract

Abstract: Selenium is one of the essential trace elements for human and animal. It can enhances resistance to disease and prevents infection disease and epidemic disease. Selenium deficiency will bring about many diseases. The article reviewed existence forms of trace element Selenium in organism，Selenium and immune，Selenium and virus infection，common animal disease lacking of Selenium to provide reference for the investigation and use of trace element Selenium.
