Abstract: The purpose of this experiment is to study the effect on part of the broiler physiological and biochemical function of Genhuang dispersible tablets. 120 19-day-old sanhuang broilers were randomly divided into four groups including the low dose group, medium dose group, high dose group and the control group, and every group had thirty broilers. The drug was continuously administrated for 30 days. At the 10th, 20th, 30th days after administration, we randomly selected 10 broilers to examine the weight, organ index, liver and kidney function indicators. The results showed that the boilers’ weight of each group had no significant differences compared with the control group (P＞0.05). There was no regularity between the organ index and drug’s dosages while the drug had little effect on the serum alanine amino transferase activity and creatinine levels. The results of the research showed that Genhuang dispersible tablets had small interference on weight, kidney and liver functions, and organ index of the broilers. So it was a low toxic and safe traditional Chinese medicine preparation which was suitable for clinical use.
