摘要: miRNA是一类长度为20~24 nt的非编码单链小分子RNA,其功能和作用是近年来分子生物学界关注的重点。miRNA具有控制基因表达及细胞分化、增殖和凋亡等多种功能,可能对基因功能研究和疾病防治探索有重要意义。作者综述了miRNA的发现、生物学特征及功能、生成过程、作用机制和鉴定方法的研究进展。

Abstract: The recent discovery of miRNAs ranged from 22 nucleotides to 24 nucleotides, took many by surprise because of their unorthodox features and widespread functions. miRNA is relevant to gene expression, cell differentiation, proliferation and apoptosis, which may play an important role in the research of gene function, disease prevention and treatment. The author reviews the discovery, biological function, forming mechanism and research methods of miRNA.
