Abstract: Tetracycline with the broad-spectrum antibacterial ability, has been largely used in animal husbandry industry. However, illegal administration will lead to residues in the animal food.Traditional detection methods have the disadvantages such as complex program, time and energy consuming, costly equipment, and difficulty to implementon-line,real-time and mass detection, but the immunoassay can make up these shortcomings. In this paper, tetracycline residues, damage and immunoassay are reviewed.
