Research Progress on the Prevention and Control of Traditional Chinese Medicine of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome

Abstract: Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS) was caused by reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV), was an acute highly contagious infectious disease, mainly clinical symptoms were for the sow fever, anorexia, abortion and stillbirth, mummy child,respiratory symptoms and high mortality of piglets. The article reviewed the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) pathogenesis mechanism of PRRS, the antiviral mechanism of TCM, and single medicinal herbs and compound medicinal herbs for the prevention and control of PRRS.
