Advances in Application of Plant Extract Feed Additive in Animal Production

Abstract

Abstract: The application of medicated feed additives in animal is restricted recently. Thus, the research, exploitation and utilization of non-medicated additives are purchased. Plant extract is considered to be safety, efficient, stable and controllable and characterized by the efficacy of improving gut health and immunity because of its anti-microbial, antioxidative property. Nowadays, plant extract has been utilized extensively in practice of animal husbandry. This paper reviewed the biological function of plant extract and its application in animal production during last years.
