Abstract: his study was aimed to explore the effects of different methods for boar sperm capacitation by chlortetracycline fluorescence (CTC) staining.Depending on the fresh boar sperm, the discrepancy of their capacitation were compared among the induction by swim-up,A23187 and caffeine incubation for different durations by CTC staining. The results showed that the rate of sperm capacitation by swim-up method and incubating for 40 min, were significantly higher than the others (P<0.05).It could be concluded that the swim-up method was exactly suitable for the application of sperm capacitation for in vitro fertilization of swine.
