The Progress and Application of DNA Barcoding in Mussels Conservation Biology Studies

Abstract: This paper described the definition，characteristics，principles，application steps and fields of DNA barcodes，and summarized the limitations and prospects of DNA barcodes in species identification studies.The paper especially emphasised the application potential of DNA barcodes in mussels conservation biology studies.
