Abstract: To investigate the immunological enhancement effects of recombinant interleukin-2 in Gushi chicken. Parental line Gushi chicken were grouped and inoculated with Newcastle disease vaccines including different dose of recombinant interleukin-2. And then the distribution and change of sIgA positive cells and its secretion in the jejunum of the chicken were observed with the immunohistochemistry technology by using the Qwin image analysis system. sIgA postive cells and secretion were distributed and located primarily in the lamina propria and enteraden cavity of the jejunum mucosa. Recombinant interleukin-2 addition in the Newcastle disease vaccine group could increase secretion of sIgA positive cells and the immunity of the birds was strengthened. Recombinant interleukin-2 could increase the immunity in some degree and the 50 μg dosage of recombinant interleukin-2 in the vaccine could display the best immunological enhancement effect.
