Abstract

Abstract: Listeriolysin O (LLO) is a production of the major Listeria monocytogenes （LM）virulence factor, this article on the immune protection of LM and the use of purified recombinant protein as a diagnostic antigen for a preliminary study. Of the LLO and LM whole-cell antigen immunized mice and rabbits to ELISA detection, analysis from the mouse and rabbit in 10 to 20 days after the LLO can reach the peak of the antibody and thus as a diagnostic antigen for the LM of listeriosis laboratory diagnosis of disease conditions. So its a good protective immune LM can be seen as a vaccine antigen has possibilities.
