Investigation on Infection of Duck Circovirus in Part Regions of Guangxi Province

Abstract

Abstract: To investigate the epidemic situation of duck cirovirus (DuCV) in Guangxi, 321 duck tissue samples collected from Baise, Liuzhou and Guilin cities of Guangxi province were detected by PCR. Results showed that the specific fragments of 228 bp were amplified from 58 samples, with a total positive rate of 18.07%. Furthermore, positive samples could be found in all 3 cities. And positive rate of each cities were 18% (54/300), 5.6% (1/18) and 100% (3/3), respectively. This investigation demonstrated that the existence of DuCV infection with different levels in duck populations from vary regions of Guangxi province.
