Abstract: To study the effect of Sauropus androgynus on the growth and organ microstructure of mice， mice were divided into four groups including three test groups and one control group; body weights were tested in every other 5 days and at the 30th day the mice were killed for tests of histopathology. The results showed that the growth of body weights of high dose group was significant slower than that of low dose group and control group（P<0.05）, thus low dose group was significant faster than control group（P<0.05）; livers and lungs of the test groups were observed mild to middling histopathological changes. Sauropus androgynus had effects on the body growth, and tissue microstructures of mice.
