Abstract: By gathering eggs from female adults of H. contortus,and hatching their eggs in incubation bottles, lots of monospecifical infectious larvae on the lids of these bottles were obtained, and contanmination was avoided from other worms. It was successful with these larvae infencting sheep. Then a lot of purebred L3 stage larvaes from the haemonchus contorts eggs were collected and got by salt floatation in the faeces of monospecifically infected sheep. The method provides a way to get purebred larvae in molecular biology research of parasites.
