Analysis of Science and Technology Support Situation and Demand Technologies in the Future on Sheep and Goat Production

Abstract: Developing sheep and goat production is the stress point in modulation
of animal husbandry productive structure and one of the major directions in livestock raising model of economized foodstuff,which has an enormous potential. In this paper，the primary sheep and goat breed resources, breeding selection technologies and raising modes were introduced firstly，and then the restricted factors in sheep and goat production were analyzed. In the end，the demanding technologies on sheep and goat production in the future were set forth such as breeding，reproducing，processing and concocting of feedstuffs，prevention and treatment of epidemic diseases and so on.
