Safety Studies on Radix isatidis and Rhizoma coptidis Oral Liquid in Target Animal Chicken

Abstract: In this study, we administrated Radix isatidis and Rhizoma coptidis oral liquid according to 1(1%), 3(3%), 5(5%) and 10(10%) times of the clinical recommended doses for 21 days, and got the data about clinical hematology, blood biochemistry, organ index and histopathology of Radix isatidis and Rhizoma coptidis oral liquid in the target animal chicken. Then we preceded t test using SPSS 17.0 software and analyzed the statistical significance of inter-group indexes to provide the relevant data for the safety of clinical application. The experimental results showed that there was no significant difference about the relevant data of Radix isatidis and Rhizoma coptidis oral liquid in the target animal chicken compared with control group (P>0.05), and Radix isatidis and Rhizoma coptidis oral liquid would be safe at 10 times of the recommended dose (10%) in the target animal chicken.
