Abstract: One bacterium was isolated from a large-scale Shandong Long-hair rabbit farm with the main clinical features of rhinitis and purulent pneumonia disease in June 2012. After bacterial culture, it was verified as capsular serotype A Pasteurella multocida through staining, biochemical test, PCR identification and animal test. The drug sensitivity test results showed that the bacterium was sensitive to tilmicosin, enrofloxacin, florfenicol, ceftiofur sodium and amoxicillin. 3 experimental groups (Pasteurella vaccine trial group, enrofloxacin group, Pasteurella vaccine and enrofloxacin combined group), each group with 500 Long-hair rabbits, were designed, the results showed that Pasteurella vaccine and enrofloxacin combined group had ideal effect on the prevention and control of the disease after 30 days.
