Sampling and Preparation Methods in Veterinary Scientific Research and the Latest Progress

Abstract: Sampling methods are an essential part of research in veterinary science. Based on the agricultural professional standard of the People’s Republic of China which is sampling methods for laboratory investigation of animal diseases and clinical practice and research experience, this article describes the types, quantities and operations of the sample collection for the content and purpose of different studies. Also, collection, preservation and processing methods of sample are introduced. It is paid more attention to the latest domestic and international progress on the sampling methods. Thus, these would provide a reference for veterinary scientific research in the future.
