Abstract: To construct some of the short arm of chromosome 1 genetic linkage map and position the bean crown gene. 2 Turfan bean crowns (♂) and 6 Rose crown chicken (♀) as the parent in the test cross. 494 were produced using F2 experimental design, based on the published reports and the home of the chicken genetic linkage map, 13 pairs of microsatellite markers was screened on chromosome 1. The genetic linkage map was drawed using MapMaker/EXP 3.0 and MapDraw 2.1, which was coupling with the recorded value, the phenotypic traits of the crown-type were located. The results showed that the x2 test of the crown of F2 accorded to the 9∶3∶3∶1 law. In linkage analysis, except MCW0007, the other 12 microsatellite loci all demonstrated the high genetic heterozygosity and polymorphic information content. The results showed that the LOD value of MCW0428, ADL0319, LEI0174 and MCW0058 marker loci were greater than 3, which showed that there might be some relation of them, and the gene of the bean crown, especially the LEI0174 had the least genetic distance with the bean (0.12 cM)
