Genetic Diversity of IGFBP-3 Gene Exon 1 and Partial Sequence of Intron 1 and their Association with Growth and Reproductive

Abstract:

To Jinghai yellow chicken hens as materialusing PCR-SSCP technique to study IGFBP-3 gene exon 1 and partial sequence of intron 1 polymorphic site and calculate the genotype, gene frequency, chi-square value and some indicators of genetic polymorphism. The results of exon 1 was not detected polymorphic site, in intron 1 of the partial sequence detected in more than one polymorphic site, the locus polymorphism as a moderate, in the first 160 bp took place T to G mutation, leading to BB and AB type 56 days of age, body weight was significantly greater than AA type (P<0.05), AA type egg in November was significantly greater than the number of BB and AB type (P<0.05). From this initial inference of intron 1 on the egg-laying and growth was likely to have a certain role in promoting, A gene for the advantage of egg-laying, B gene for the advantage of weight.
