Abstract: Haemophilus parasuis were isolated in TSA agar medium by detecting its bacteria observation, cultural characteristics and biochemistry from infected pigs from 15 farms of Guangdong province of China, which suspected to be porcine Haemophilus parasuis. The specific PCR assays amplifying the genes of Haemophilus parasuis encoding 16S small subunit ribosomal RNA. The PCR-product of 821 bp fragments was observed with the clinical isolates. Combining with bacteria observation, culture characteristics and biochemistry, all results showed that seven isolates of Haemophilus parasuis were successful identified. Drug sensitive tests showed that isolations were sensitive to Ampicillin, Polymyxin B and Gentamycin.
