An Overview of the Bacillus Subtilis Natto as Probiotics in Ruminant Production

Abstract: Bacillus subtilis natto is accepted gradually by animal husbandry as probiotics. Its functions have been proved by many researches, such as raising animal performance and immunity, improving the quality of milk. This overview is to introduce the characters, mechanism and applications of Bacillus subtilis natto as probiotics in ruminant production, and discuss the directions of the future studies.
