Abstract: Sixty-four healthy yellow-feathered broilers of 1-day-old were selected and divided into group A and group B randomly, each group with 4 replicates in which had 8 yellow-feathered broilers. Group A fed the dietⅠ(include 5% fishmeal), group B fed the dietⅡ(include 2% fishmeal) in which added 0.5% small peptides. The trial lasted 8 weeks to investigate the effect of small peptides on growth performance and biochemical parameters of the yellowfeathered broilers. The results showed that used a small number of small peptide products to replace a certain amount of fish meal in the diet reducing dietary protein content, even made yellowfeathered broilers have higher growth performance. Also the content of the serum protein and serum albumin were significantly（P<0.05）increased and the serum total cholesterol were significantly（P<0.05）reduced in the 2-week-old of yellow-feathered broilers.
