Abstract: Seven days old ducklings without maternal antibody were inoculated with duck hepatitis virus (DHV), and treated with Chinese traditional medicine named hypericin oral liquid and western medicine oral liquid respectively at 7 days old or at 10 days old for 5 days. The results showed that compared with control groups，the two oral liquid were no side effect, nontoxic, harmless and produces significant therapy function. The livability with the hypericin oral liquid were 90.6％，84.4％,and western medicine oral liquid were 65.5％,56.3％.
