摘要: 微小RNA(microRNA,miRNA)是长度约16~29 nt的非编码RNA。其功能是通过特异性基因沉默导致靶mRNA降解,抑制蛋白质的合成或在细胞分化、发育和凋亡等关键时期调控转录后的基因表达水平。大量研究结果表明,miRNA既可作为诱癌基因参与恶性肿瘤发生和发育过程,又可作为抑癌基因参与控制恶性肿瘤的形成。迄今,试图以治疗癌症为宗旨进行miRNA的功能与癌症形成的关联性研究已成为国内外的热点课题之一。因此,作者就miRNA产生机制、miRNA的生物学功能、与癌症相关的主要miRNA和癌症治疗的展望等问题进行了概括性的论述,其目的在于为从事miRNA的功能与癌症形成关联性研究的同行提供重要的参考资料,促进该项研究取得新进展。

Abstract: MicroRNAs are small non-coding RNAs about 16~29 nucleotides in length that regulate gene expression at the post transcriptional level by silencing of target genes. It can cause degradation of target mRNA and inhibit the synthesis of protein in key time of cell degradation, development and apoptosis. Research has revealed that, miRNAs participate in formation, development and many cell signal pathways of malignant tumor as either oncogenes or tumor suppressors. Today the research on association analysis between function of miRNA and formation of cancer becomes a hotspot at home and abroad. This paper summarized the develop mechanism and biological function of miRNA. We also discussed on the major miRNAs related to cancer and gave a predict of diagnosis and treatment of cancer.
