Abstract: To isolate and identificate Dermatophilus congolensis from Argali sheep, the skin material was dried at 28 ℃ and smashed, added with sterile water for 15 days, standing. Added with 6% yeast extract, stirred at 60 ℃ for 30 min, scribbled on plates and placed at 37 ℃ for 48 h to evaluate the characteristics of the Dermatophilus congolensis stains, the bacterial morphology, cultivating characteristics, indirect immunohistochemistry were performed and devised a pair of specific primers according to the 16S rRNA sequence of Dermatophilus congolensis GenBank published for PCR.The results showed the bacteria collected from Argali sheep was related to the Dermatophilus congolensis.
