Abstract: This experiment was aimed to compare immune enhancement activities of Astragalus polysaccharide (APS), Morus polysaccharide (MPS) and Chinese yam polysaccharide (CYPS) to chicken peripheral lymphocyte-T and spleen lymphocyte-B. The safe concentrations of the 3 polysaccharides to chicken embryo fibroblast were tested by enzymes detection method; the influence on proliferation of chicken peripheral lymphocyte-T by the 3 polysaccharides separate stimulating and coordinate stimulating with PHA were compared, the influence on proliferation of chicken spleen lymphocyte-B by the 3 polysaccharides separate stimulating and coordinate stimulating with LPS were studied. The results revealed that APS and MPS had higher safe concentrations. At 64 to 512 μg/mL, 3 polysaccharides showed excellent activity of promoting proliferation of peripheral lymphocyte-T and spleen lymphocyte-B. The results showed that the 3 polysaccharides had different influence on proliferation of chicken peripheral lymphocyte and spleen lymphocyte, and among them, the effect of APS was best, that of MPS was less, and CYPS was least.
