Isolation and Serotype Identification on Clostridium perfringen SD12 Strain of Rabbit

Abstract

Abstract: Clostridium perfringen isolate was isolated from rabbit's farm in Shandong. The isolate was identified by colonial morphology, culture characteristic, biochemistry reaction, pathogenicity test on mouse and rabbit. The results indicated that the pathogen designated as SD12 strain,was anaerobic and identified A genotype Clostridium perfringen with high pathogenicity on mouse and rabbit.
