Ruminant Superovulation Technology Research and the Application in the Cervid

Abstract: Superovulation (the super-row) can induce a large number of follicular maturation, ovulation, and increase the number of embryos can be transplanted, which plays a vital role in embryo transfer of livestock and also is the basic means of transgenic animal production and animal cloning. We discuss the methods and characters of superovulation, with influencing factors of superovulation effect and a general discussion about the latest progress of superovulation technology in the application of the cervid,propose the problems and the prospects.
