Abstract: In this experiment, cell culture and MTT detecting techniques were used to examine the influence of probiotics on the T and B lymphocyte proliferative function to ConA and PMA in peripheral blood and immune organs of 1 day old ND-vaccinated chicks. The results were as follows: After vaccinated, the lymphopoiesis function in peripheral blood and immune organs increased in different extent compared with those of control chicks, probiotics and ND-vaccinated group was better than only ND-vaccinated group; after challenged with vNDV, the lymphopoiesis function in peripheral blood and immune organs and the immune protection rate increased in different extent compared with the control group, probiotics and ND-vaccinated group was better than only vaccine group. The results showed that probiotics could enhance the effect and the immune protection rate of ND vaccine to vNDV.
