Abstract: In order to detect the peptides expression profile in follicles, the matrix-assisted laser desorption ionization mass spectrometry was used to establish a model of peptide expression profile and compare expression changes of peptides from small follicles ((? <4 mm), medium follicules (4 to 8 mm) and mature follicles (? >8 mm). The results indicated that there were 12 peptides to express significantly different among three shapes of follicles. 6 peptides increased and 5 peptides decreased in mature follicles. The 1746 u of peptide expressed specifically in mature follicles, which might be used as the one of the underlying biomarkers for follicles maturation.
