Abstract: A growing number of evidence show that endogenous hydrogen sulphide(H2S) is a new kind of gaseous signal molecule, which plays an important role in regulation and protection of central nervous system. But the role of hydrogen sulphide in anesthesia is still unknown. This paper infer that H2S has some association with anesthesia with the analysis of the adjustment to NMDA receptors, nerve cells calcium channel and the relationship between gaseous signal molecule and anesthesia.
