Determination of p-coumaric Acid(PCA) in PCA Solution by RP-HPLC〖

Abstract: It was aimed to establish high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC)method for determination of p-coumaric acid (PCA) in PCA solution. The p-coumaric acid was successfully separation performed on XTerra〖KG-*4〗〖XC1.TIF〗RP18 column at ambient temperature,MeOH-1% acetic acid (40∶60) was the mobile phase,the detection wavelength was 310 nm and flow-rate 1 mL/min. The results showed that there was good liner relationship(r=0.999904) in the range of 2 to 500 μg/mL,RSD=0.5%,the average recovery rate was 98.22% to 101.07%. The results showed that the simple,rapid and accurate method could be used for the quality control of PCA solution.
