Abstract: 75 Nubian ewes were selected and divided into 3 groups randomly. Besides basic grazing, three groups of ewes were treated compound-premix plus urea, concentrated feed and concentrate supplement respectively. Blood hormones and biochemical indexes were determined at the breeding day (0 d), 100 d of pregnancy and 150 d of pregnancy. The results showed as follows:the blood indexes no significant difference at 0 d(P>0.05) in the three groups of ewes. The group of added concentrate supplement had highest insulin, T3 and T4 concentrations at 100 d pregnancy (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Three groups of ewes serum insulin, T3 and T4 concentrations were declining trend at 150 d of pregnancy, however, concentrate supplement feeding group was still the highest one, the differences among the three groups were still existed (P<0.05 or P<0.01). GLU, TP, ALB, ALP, AST, ALT concentrations were increased with pregnancy rising, the group of add concentrate supplement was still the highest one, and there were significant differences among the three groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01). BUN concentration increased at the 100 d of experiment, there was slight decrease at 150 d; the added urea group was the highest one, and there were significant differences among the three groups (P<0.05 or P<0.01).
