Abstract: The reverse transcription loop-mediated isothermal amplification (RT-LAMP) had been built as a rapid and exact detection method which could play an important role in the prevention and control of Newcastle disease. Two pairs of specific primers were designed based on the sequences of SCFV E gene available in GenBank, targeting the 6 distinct sequences of E gene. A reverse transcriptase loop-mediated isothermal amplification(RT-LAMP) for the rapid detection of CSFV was developed by using the specific primers. The results showed that the detection limit of the CSFV-RT-LAMP method was 10-5. The amplification could be finished within 1 h with good specificity and high sensitivity. And the developed method can meet the demands of field detection of CSFV infection.

Key words: CSFV; reverse transcriptase loop-mediated isothermal amplification(RT-LAMP)
