Abstract: Tissue samples were taken from the dead geese of breeding goose farm suspected to be colibacillosis infection，8 pathogenic E.coli strains were isolated and identified，the results of identification using O and K serogroups showed that 8 isolates were confirmed to be O88K61(4 strains) and O44K74(3 strains) serotype respectively, except 1 unidentified strain，endotoxin was not detected in the identified E.coli strains above. The antibiotics sensitivity test with 14 kinds of antibacterial drugs indicated the 8 isolates were highly sensitive to Amikacin，moderately sensitive to Vancomycin，Neomycin and Furazolidone，and resistant to Amoxinllin，Streptomycin，Kanamycin，Gentamicin and Tetracycline，the 8 E.coli isolates were cross-resistant to Enrofloxacin，Pioneermycin，Sulfadiazine，Norfloxacin and Doxycycline. The results above also revealed that at least 3 pathogenic E.coli serotypes with multi-drug resistance existed among the sick geese flock in the same farm.
