Effects of Norcantharidin on Proliferation of Lung Cancer Cell in vitro

Abstract

Abstract: To study the influence and mechanism of norcantharidin(NCTD) on growth of lung cancer cell line A549 and Lewis, the inhibitory rate, cell cycle arrest, mitogen activated protein kinase(MAPK) were detected by wst-1, flow cytometry and immunoblotting technique，respectively. IC50 of NCTD to A549 and Lewis was 13.5 μmol/L and 9.5 μmol/L，respectively. This study showed that the inhibition of NCTD on A549 and Lewis. G2/M phase blocking rate was 26.30%，29.44%，49.83% and 81.35% at 24 h after NCTD treated cells, dose of NCTD was 0，6.25，12.50 and 25.00 μmol/L. The results indicated that one of the major antitumor mechanisms of NCTD may be through inhibiting proliferation.
