Abstract: According to the highly pathogenic porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (HP-PRRSV) Nsp2 gene partially missing features, designed and synthesized a pair of specificity primers, 4 dead pigs’ lymph nodes, spleens, lungs that suspected HP-PRRSV infection were detected by RT-PCR, 226 bp specific segments were amplificated and agreed with the desired results. The lungs, spleens, lymph nodes were taken and fixed in 10% formalin, the paraffin section were made to observe the change of this abnormal tissue, the results showed that the lymphocytes in lymph nodes and spleen were serious necrosis, lung was diffuse interstitial pneumonia, the substantial cells were damaged of different degree in liver, kidney and brain.
