Abstract

Abstract: The current study analyzed the mechanism of sex determination by PCR method for bovine early embryos, and summarized the progress of related techniques in the past decade, including the sampling of early embryos, the extraction of cellular DNA, the design of primers, optimization of amplified condition, cryopreservation of sexed embryos and detection of product, and then evaluated the prospects of applying PCR technique in sex determination for bovine early embryos.
