Abstract

Abstract: The principle, technique and protocols, measurement indices, influencing factors and resolve ways of domestic diversity analysis by microsatellite polymorphisms were briefly discussed in this paper. Furthermore, the progresses and application of microsatellite polymorphisms to researching sheep and goats’genetic diversity were summarized with the purpose of facilitating future study of sheep and goats breeding.
