Regression Analysis between Body Weight and Body Measurement of Oura-Type of Tibetan Sheep

Abstract: In this paper,40 male sheep and 104 female sheep of Oura-type Tibetan sheep in Henan county of Qinghai province were selected to measure the body weight and body measurement. Then the regression analysis between body weight and body measurement was made by the Stepwise method of SPSS soft. The optimized regression equation is, y=0.88x2+13.64x6-4.35x7+1.28x4-114.51 (P<0.01) for male sheep, and y=0.49x1+0.46x2+0.30x3+0.43x4-43.51 (P<0.01) for female sheep.
