Abstract: Haemophilus parasuis (Hps) is the etiological agent of porcine Glsser’s disease, which can invade and cause severe systemic disease, characterized by fibrinous polyserositis,arthritis and meningitis. As the development of the world pig-industry, the disease has become one of the most important bacterial diseases of pigs. This study on the aetiology, epidemiology and causative agent of Haemophilus parasuis are reviewed in this article.
